Please give me a call on 07879 840171 (in office hours) or send me a message via the form on my contact page and i’ll be in touch.

Pre-photoshoot

Can you help me choose the right photoshoot?
Absolutely! There are lots of guidance on my photography service pages but I can also offer direct expert advice as to which session would suit you best. Please call me on 07879 840171 to chat or drop me a line.
How does the booking process work?

Once you have decided that you would like to book a session with me, we first agree a mutually convenient date.

I will then send you a session contract that can be completed electronically and an invoice that can be settled via bank transfer. Once the contract is returned and payment complete your date is secured.

I will send you a link to a Pinterest board in advance of the session so that you have some ideas or what to bring and/or what to wear for you and/or those also taking part in the photoshoot.

How do you take payment? Do you take card payments?

Payment is made via bank transfer in advance in order to secure your agreed photoshoot session date.

I don’t take card payments at the moment although I can sometimes I can arrange a Paypal transaction if a bank transfer is not possible.

What shall I wear?

I will send you a Pinterest board similar with advice regarding clothing. These boards change depending upon the season and obviously your type of session!

Generally I advise no logos, bold patterns or stripes. Careful planning of your outfits really makes a difference.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the photoshoot?

I will advise at the point of booking of anything you may want to bring to the photoshoot. This could be anything from dog biscuits to children’s toys depending upon the type of session you are booking and help the session run smoothly.

Can you arrange hair and make up?

Yes this can be arranged at an additional cost and is especially relevant to Classic Portrait or Maternity sessions.

Please mention this when booking so I can ensure availability.

The photoshoot

How do I find you?

My general location with a map is on the contact page. Once you book with me I will send detailed directions if we are meeting at my studio or the equivalent for our location shoot address.

I always ensure we both have each other’s mobiles to keep in contact in the run up to the session and on the day.

How does your home studio differ from one on the high street?

My studio is a beautiful Victorian room with high ceilings and lovely natural light, with professional photographic equipment, lights, backdrops and props for every occasion.

Unlike most high streets there is easy and direct access to my house with off-road parking on my driveway.

I hope that coming to my home will banish any nerves you may have, make you feel comfortable, relaxed and help you to really enjoy your photoshoot session.

What if it rains?

I always book a back up date with you in the case of inclement weather.

I will stay in touch with you in the run up to the photoshoot session and, depending on the forecast, can change the time slightly if it will help with light and weather conditions.

How long will my session last?

Most sessions last around 1.5-2 hours but some are a bit shorter. Session times are detailed on each of my photography services pages.

This is not a strict time and I always make allowance for the need for a little extra time to cover everything.

Equally, sometimes photoshoots may be a little shorter if, especially with children, we mutually decide that we have fulfilled their potential!

Post-photoshoot

When and where can I see the images from my photoshoot?
Unless otherwise specified images will be ready for viewing about 2-3 weeks after your shoot. I prefer to invite you to a post-shoot viewing session at my home studio so you get to see your images in a video on a large screen without watermarks.

This also gives you the opportunity to view samples of my prints and framed products before placing an order. This is not a hard sell, simply a great chance to choose what will work best for your home and allow me to sort everything for you.

If it is not possible for you to visit me I can send you a private online gallery of your images (watermarked and low resolution) and we can organise a FaceTime or Skype session for you to view my products if required.

My prints and frames product guide can also be seen here.

Will I get to see all the images you took on my photoshoot?

No. I will present to you a gallery of approximately 15-20 edited images, although this will vary depending upon the nature of your photoshoot.

I will take a large number of images to ensure I get a good choice of the best to edit for you. Further final edits are carried out once you have chosen your favourite images, however you may purchase all the images in your gallery should you so wish.

Can I print my images myself?

Yes, if you purchase the digital files from your photoshoot, you can print the images yourself. Full details of my pricing for digital images can be found here.

I only work with the best professional photographic laboratories in the UK and can therefore ensure perfect colour and excellent quality should you wish to order prints with me.

Most of my photoshoot sessions come with a complimentary 6 x 8″ print so you can see exactly how the images should look before choosing to order any further prints.

Can you get my images framed for me?

Yes of course!

One of the favourite parts of running my business is providing you with an opportunity to leave with finished artwork ready to hang and start enjoying as soon as possible. I also take away the worry of having to find a supplier that will print your images beautifully or finding a suitable framer.

All my photographic equipment is calibrated to ensure accurate colour representation and I only use professional, UK based print laboratories and wall art manufacturers who have the highest standards in production quality.

My prints and frame product guide can be found here or please contact me for a full price guide.

How many photos will I get from my photoshoot?

I will present a gallery of approximately 15-20 images depending on your session.

You only order what you like after the shoot. There is no obligation to purchase anything after your session should you not wish to.
